We arrive in Moonlight Falls, it's summer and it rains, because it had to. My Alpha there decided to give it a taste. It would seem that she likes it, silly girl.
Her name is Accalia Lowell, she's a brave, outdoor-loving and nurturing angler with a good sense of humor. She likes a spicy brown, indie music and tri-tip steak (because of course). As stipulated she wants to become Leader of the Pack (I'm really curious about that Lifetime Wish). Oh, and she's a Capricorn.
The little cub back there is her son Faelan who is also an outdoorsy angler, but a friendly one. He likes grey, pop and grilled salmon (though he's not too particular about the 'grilled' part). He is a Libra.
They split from their old pack because of a disagreement with the packs' alpha pair and have been travelling alone ever since, never staying long at any one place.
Let's see if this town will be different, shall we?
I bought Faelan a plushy for his birthday. That may not have been smart, but isn't he just too cute?
They both had the want to transform, so I thought 'hey, wouldn't it look cool the have them do so at the same time?'. Fail!
Faelan looks scary though.
I sent them to a park to do some hunting. Only it turns out that child werewolves can't do that. The eaxis nanny-state of course, grrr!
Well, instead I set him to catch some dinner. Because what little money we've got left will be saved till we really need it.
Accalia is making decent progress. That is actually her second point and she found us some nice things we'll be able to use later on.
Looks like she's trying to suck on her skillmeter though... I wonder why. It doesn't look very yummy to me. ;)
First fish! But it's only a minnow and (as I found out shortly after) minnows are inedible. Damn!
Yeah, I'd be disappointed too.
In fact, I am.
Don't glare at me like that, Accalia. I have no control over what fish will be caught.
Go, hunt some more, will ya?
Faelan doesn't let that disappointment stop him. The next will be better, for sure!
And what is that in the background? *zooms in*
Oh look, The MacDuffs are having a family outing with Chester and Bailey Swain. In the rain. XD
Bailey (according to Nraas Story Progression) just happens to be going out with Joe MacDuff (grey sweater), the unfortunate squib in a family of half-blood wizards. Poor guy.
Second catch!
And just as inedible. Cripes!
Something about being 'too strange for these awesome claws to eat'. I didn't know the claws were hungry too...
Well, at least we can use it otherwise. ^^
Faelan: "I need to concentrate!"
Fail!
And thus the afternoon passes.
Aaaand, we take the first hurdle! Accalia can now pass on her 'furry little problem' to other sims. We do need 5 of those, after all.
Faelan: "I'm going to eat you."
Uhm, yumm?
Oh look at that! And here I thought those were native and unique to Egypt! Silly me. XD
Awhoooooooooooo!
Time for a change of scene.
In other news: Children in this game really don't get to do anything. *sigh* Such a pity!
Byebye, pond! Hellooo, Alchemy Shop!
Anyone wondering why we're here? ^^
That's right.
Someone had a wish to learn alchemy. And since that tallies so wonderfully with my plans... ^^
And Faelan does what he can to provide ingredients.
But the poor little guy is getting very tired and he's got school in the morning, so we make use of the other very attractive feature of this lot:
Free rocking chair! Wooot!
A wild horse wandered by and I couldn't help but wonder... If it's wild, then who braided that tail?
First elixir and already a success. Nice going, Accalia! Keep it up!
Huh, seems like Chester is trying to make up for the non-magicality of his daughter's boyfriend. He snagged himself a Crumplebottom! Can you even get any more pureblood than that?
I'm not sure I approve of it though, his getting Moonlight Falls' equivalent to Phoebe Halliwell, even if she is rather self-absorbed... Seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
First rule of being a werewolf: Always take care of your teeth!
(See that, kids? You've got to brush more! ;) )
And then he's off to his first day of school.
Accalia: "Don't! Just don't!"
And since the rocking chair is now free...
After a nice little nap I had her head over to the local pool. Because she needs a shower. ^^ And also some people to talk to.
And it appears we're in luck! A fellow werewolf, what do you know. This guy's name is Argus Brown.
Huh, more werewolves! Param and Navita Singh. Is there a meeting going down? Werewolves Anonymous anyone?
Well, I asked Accalia to go meet Argus and she rolled the want to ask his zodiac sign. Sure, why not.
Argus: "I'm a Virgo, baby. And a doctor. Would you like me to demonstrate?"
O.O
Oookay, HE certainly doesn't waste any time!
Well, their signs are compatible. But they're not attracted to each other. What's that about anyway?
And with one surprise-smooch they're romantic interests. Why does that never happen when I want it to, dammit?
And what's that? A marital row?
Nah, they're just practicing their fighting technique. On each other. Because appearantly that's what werewolves do...
A few minutes earlier:
Param: "Winner!"
And he was right!
I dunno, werewolves in the pool? Is that good for the filters?
But look who's a ghostbuster! Doreen Caliente, who would have thought? XD Param however does not approve.
Accalia gets challenged!
Accalia: "Didn't she just give birth a couple hours ago?"
Yes, yes she did!
And still she whips our butt!
Btw she had a son, named Santos. Santos MacDuff... interesting.
Finally Accalia finds someone she's attracted to! But Rick Durwood is already married as I know, and Accalia is no homewrecker.
And yeah, Faelan is also here. He came over as soon as school was out. Poor cubby, he seems to get a bit lost in his mom's shadow sometimes.
I told him to go do his homework, so it won't be forgotten.
Meanwhile his mom is trying to learn a bit more about the guy she's now suddenly in love with.
Oh yeah, that's reeeeally attractive.
But he doesn't mind.
And she likes. ^^
See?
Isn't he cute?
Sniffing is inappropriate? Not to Argus!
And those faces he makes are just priceless! We'll keep him around, oh yes we will! ^^
*stretches* *cracks knuckles* (Because I had to try this at least once.)
Rick is making sure he has a seat in the frontrow. ^^
Notice the sunglasses!
Aaaaand fight!
She wins!
All is as it should be. ^^
Accalia: "Who is a good boy?"
Accalia: "Oh yes, you are!"
Synchronous...
... howling...
... at the moon!
*cough* *cough* *cough*
(Might I add that none of this is staged? Really, it isn't!)
Hey! One thing child werewolves can do! (Because everything else is so much more dangerous...)
*blink*
That was quick, Bianca! ... One day and already preggo.
Accalia and Faelan meanwhile are on their way back to the alchemy shop. Seperately, of course. Because Accalia is so much faster than her son and she's not about to wait.
Look at that fish! XD
"HALP! She's gonna eat me!"
And then it's time to get some sleep.
Accalia being the good mother she is (*cough*or not*cough*) leaves her son the rocking chair.
While she herself takes the bench outside.
Sleep well, my little weres. Tomorrow is going to come too soon. ^^
And that is all for today. I hope you enjoyed!
See you next time?
That was amusing! Accalia definitely seems like an alpha personality: large and in-charge and just crazy enough.
ReplyDeleteAnd Faelan is adorable!
If Argus joins Accalia's pack, does he count as one of the five? Or do the five all have to be turned by her?
I'm happy you enjoyed it!
DeleteHeh, she's definitely crazy. XD She was rather different when she was still in my head. But that's the thing about characters in general and sims in particular, isn't it? They turn around and surprise you. When I took that first picture up there I thought it was so totally incongruous that I couldn't help but take it, but it seems to now sum up the whole thing quite nicely.
About Argus: In the description of her LTW it says 'Turn 5 Sims into Werewolves', so sadly no, he won't count. Kind of a pity. But I'll probably have him join her pack anyway. I like him. ^^
I'm not sure how that whole pack business works yet anyway. Much to try out! *rubs hands*
Thank you, Van!
